"Born without a life but given one, for enternaly"
This kitten was born without a life, but it has been given a life. A Life in this jar, forever. It will not rott, it will not change. It remains the way it was brought.
PS: Do not flame me if you do not like the photo due it's containt. It's art in my eyes. ( yeah, I have had people who called me sick and stuff ... that's why i add this line )
mmm.. different. But I like it. Though I wouldn't look at it more than a second if it was in the science lbs at school.
So yeah I like it although I do think that it would have been a better shot without the grey block (?) in the bakcground so that it would have been completely black.
Likes: Powerful, the idea behind this picture is good. I quite like the simplicity of the picture, and the backround
Dislikes: I don't think the jar has enough contrast, there are alot of greys there. maybe change the direction os the lighting. Another good setting for this picture would be on a old shelf, around other jars, with this one the focus, but I can't just imagine this on someones dusty old shelf, it may add to the power of the image, or may take away, you would have to try it. Also I think the kitten is very obscure, (her shape) in the jar, I'm not sure if this wa intentional or not, it adds to a kind of atmosphere, but without a backround you can't really get the effect of an atmosphere.
Overall I think it's a great picture, maybe disturbing to some, but I see the symbolism, I think. And also thanks for the comment

It's a good thing we have gravity, or else when birds died they'd just stay right up there. Hunters would be all confused.
Whoa, I'm stuck for words here. Even though you didn't kill it, it still is a piece that can instantly shock. Imagine if you hadn't put that description there?
The actual shot you've managed to grab gives the piece a morbid, scientific feel. The jar and it's contents almost remind me of something I'd expect to see in a science fiction film.

I get up around seven
Get out of bed around nine
